Getting to the Meisterhof

The Meisterhof sits on the edge of Hundham in the Leitzach Valley, around 60 kilometres south-east of Munich. By car it takes about an hour depending on traffic, and by train you travel to Miesbach or Fischbachau and change to the bus there.

By car

From Munich, take the A8 towards Salzburg as far as the Weyarn exit, then drive via Miesbach and Wörnsmühl to Hundham. Our farm is the first one on the left as you enter the village.

Coming from Rosenheim or Salzburg, leave the A8 at Bad Aibling and drive via Bad Feilnbach to Hundham. Turn right in the village and carry on to the far end, where ours is the last farm on the right.

In winter, German law requires winter tyres when there is snow or ice on the road.

Public transport

The Bayerische Regiobahn (BRB) runs from Munich Central Station via Holzkirchen to Miesbach and on via Schliersee to Bayrischzell, on line RB 55. It also stops at Fischbachau station.

From Miesbach and Fischbachau stations, regional bus 352 takes you to Hundham. The farm is only a few minutes’ walk from the stops “Hundham, Marienplatz” and “Hundham, Funk”.

From the airport, take the S1 or S8 suburban train to Munich Central Station and change to the BRB there.

You need a normal ticket for the journey to us, and you receive your guest card with us after you arrive. From then on it gives you free bus and train travel in MVV zones 6 to 9.

Arriving and parking

Each apartment comes with its own garage for your car, included in the price. When you book, you can tell us roughly when you expect to arrive, so we know when to look out for you.

On the day of arrival the apartment is ready for you from 15:00, and on the day of departure please leave it by 10:00.

If you cannot find the farm straight away, give us a call and we will talk you through the last stretch.
